The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), is a senior executive in a company whose main responsibility is to protect the company's data systems and data from cyber-attacks. A CISO must have a deep understanding of the company's information security architecture, policies, and procedures, in addition to the strengths and weaknesses of the organization's IT (IT) infrastructure. A CISO is accountable for managing and leading the organization's security operations. This is a part of incident response and recovery.
